- Answer the telephone, deal with queries relevant to the service and/or take accurate messages.
- Meet and greet Visitors, Staff and members of the general public with professionalism and curtesy at all times.
- Receive, open, sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail on a daily basis.
- Use computerised system to book appointments and complete associated processes.
- Use Room Booking system to book meetings.
- Process and update all relevant documentation where appropriate, using manual and computerised systems.
- To undertake data entry as required, logging all admissions, discharges and periods of leave onto the WPAS (Myrddin) System within agreed timescales.

- Will need to receive and transmit routine information requiring tact, persuasive and empathetic skills when dealing with distressed clients and relatives in person or by phone and be aware of the reporting system should an incident occur.
- To undertake general reception duties, meeting and greeting patients and visitors to the ward, responding politely and courteously at all times.
