Receptionist and Administrator
- Based in one of the 3 locations Bournemouth, Poole or Christchurch ( depending where you live)
- Hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4.30pm on a Friday
- 37 hours per week, half an hour for lunch
- Pay rate £12.18 per hour
- To start ASAP on the temporary side with a view to go permanent in the future
- There is no hybrid working, it is all office based
About the Reception/Admin role
Face to face dealing with the public on their front desk, answering phones calls, queries, sign posting, dealing with emails, paperwork and applications, scanning documents and uploading them to their database.
Must have lots of empathy as you will be dealing with the public, dealing with some vulnerable people , answering the phone, dealing with queries, paperwork, scanning documents, able to sign post to all their public services. You must have an excellent command of English, both written and verbal, there is also some work in their digital mail room.
You will be resilient, caring, and someone who can stay calm under pressure, it is a busy environment , you will be someone who is able to multi-task . There is training provided.
The role will be based at the location closest to where you live in either Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole, but ideally you will be able to cover at any of their branches if there is sick leave, or a holiday, so you must live be on a decent bus route, or be a car driver.
This role is an interesting one, and would suit someone who has worked on a busy reception area , or within customer service, you will have good admin, and IT skills.
