Horsforth School is seeking to appoint a Receptionist who either possesses an Emergency First Aider certificate or would be willing to undertake the necessary training in order to do so.

The successful candidate will possess excellent inter personal skills, good IT skills, be flexible, with a ‘can do’ attitude and be sensitive to the needs and perspectives of others.  Duties will include manning the student reception, providing administrative and first aid/Emergency First aid support primarily to students, but also to staff and other stakeholders on site. Start/finish times for the role will be discussed at interview.

For our 1500 students, Horsforth School provides an engaging environment of discovery and growth. For our colleagues too, this setting offers some great benefits. Located in north-west Leeds, the school is just five miles from the city centre with its thriving retail, leisure and cultural facilities, yet on the edge of open countryside. York, Harrogate and the Dales are within easy reach.

GCSE and A Level results are consistently well above the national averages and in both 2022 and 2023 the school had the best A Level results in the whole of Leeds. Horsforth School was also named one of the top schools in Yorkshire in The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide in 2022.
