RECEPTIONIST / FRONT OF HOUSE JOB SUMMARY:We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a company in Poole, who pride themselves on having an authentic, friendly culture and ethos. As a result of expansion and internal progression, they are now looking to recruit a PART - TIME Receptionist / Front of House, for their existing team. The hours will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 08:30 - 17:00 with a 45-minute lunch break. Our client is looking for someone who has worked as a Receptionist, or Front of House Administrator ideally, but with culture fit and the right attitude, as their highest priority, they will train the right person.RECEPTIONIST / FRONT OF HOUSE RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the Executive Management team and communicate important information to all departments. The part - time Receptionist / Front of House will handle incoming telephone calls, screen and forward them on to the correct department internally. Distribute and manage the post, liaise with couriers for deliveries and ensure that the front reception is manned at all times for visitors / meetings. Meet and Greet visitors and clients, issue parking permits and manage the internal parking rota for staff. Travel arrangements for staff internally, as and when required. Oversee general housekeeping for the offices (ordering, receiving and unpacking orders for grocery items, stationery etc) Updating internal systems with relevant information and support the wider team with additional administration tasks as required. Collate information for the office newsletter. Ensure that the communal areas in the office are maintained and kept tidy. Supporting the team with the arrangement of monthly events for staff. The part - time receptionist / Front of House will work closely with the team to ensure that any additional tasks / project work is completed efficiently.RECEPTIONIST / FRONT OF HOUSE KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential - you will be working with both internal staff and clients, at all levels. Confidence to communicate in a professional and friendly manner, is therefore essential. Strong Microsoft office experience is essential - you will be updating internal records, working off spreadsheets so exposure to Google suite is important. An organised, efficient approach to your work will ensure that you can manage your own workload and support other staff members with additional tasks, as required. Friendly, open-minded approach. You will be working in a very creative environment, and it would therefore be ideal if you have an interest in the digital / creative world. This is not essential however, as training will be provided. You will be working in a social office environment, it is not a typical Front of House environment, you will be around a constant flow of people in a stunning office environment.Fantastic benefits: 25 days holiday per year (Pro rata for this role) which increases with service - Bank holidays are in addition to holidays.
