Receptionist/ Student Services Clerk 1 year Fixed Term Contract
Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: Full-time equivalent of £24,531, with a pro-rata salary of £17,927.
Working Pattern: Full time, Term time only (38 weeks per year), for 1 year

The Role
As Receptionist you will be the first contact many students and visitors have with the college, so will play a vital role in conveying the colleges values. On a daily basis you will:

• Be a primary contact at the main college reception, showcasing your excellent customer service skills.
• Efficiently manage incoming calls on the switchboard, connecting the college community.
• Engage in diverse administrative duties, playing a key role in the smooth operation of the college.
• Be part of a vibrant educational setting, contributing to a positive campus experience.

What do you need?

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent.
• Ideally you will have a relevant level 2 qualification such as customer service/business admin
• Previous experience of working working on a reception would be highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including an excellent telephone manner. You will also need excellent organisational skills.
• You must already have or be happy to undergo an enhanced DBS check including the child barred list
