Receptionist & Welcome Host

We are currently recruiting a full-time/ part-time Guest Relations Ambassador to expand the Front Office Team, offering a personalised service to our guests.

Who we are looking for:

You will be the face of the guest relations team, welcoming all guest to Market Street hotel ensuring guest expectations are delivered and exceeded at all times.

You’ll have impeccable personal presentation standards, be team orientated, and have excellent communication skills as you’ll be working closely with other departments in the hotel.

It is essential that your experience and background has been working within a quality 4 or 5 star hotel environment.

Some of the main duties:

· You will welcome all guests and give them a unique check-in and check-out experience

· Develop high quality relationships with guests, from the moment they arrive and throughout their stay.

· Being a true local hero, providing concierge information about Edinburgh and beyond.

· Be the first point for any guest concerns where you will be empowered to try to resolve them or seek guidance

· Be completely knowledgeable of room types, sales types, guest types, VIP codes and room rates

· Ensure that guest documentation and information is available and up-to-date

· Ensure that information is passed on to other departments as necessary and to the other members of the department

· Flexibility is a must as you will be required to cover shifts over the weekends and night shift
