We are searching for a part time Receptionist Administrator in Gillingham, Dorset.
What you will do as Receptionist Administrator
You will be the first point of contact for members of the public, colleagues, and external organisations. You will support the team in admin, diary management and events.
- Deliver excellent customer service by providing appropriate information, advice, guidance, and support in a professional and timely manner.
- Run the reception and provide general administrative support. This includes assisting visitors, responding to emails, telephone calls, opening post, ordering stationery, and preparing documentation.
- Update website and social media platforms.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with organisations, agencies, volunteer/interest groups and local authorities.
- Take room hire bookings, maintain accurate records, and liaise with hirers.
- Support the team with secretarial services, diary management, event organisation, and attendance.
What you will receive.
This is a permanent part time position for 20 hours per week with an immediate start. The working hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 1pm.
Staff benefits include 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and two days at Christmas pro rata, and a generous pension scheme. Your pro rata salary is £14,042 per year.
Skills and experience.
You will need a good level of written and verbal communication skills, IT skills in Microsoft applications and social media, and excellent customer service skills.
