Job Description
Role: Recipe Development Manager
Location: London
Employment Type:8 Month - Fixed Term Contract (Starting January 2024)
A new opportunity has come up to support our end-to-end Recipe Development funnel to ensure we deliver all of our recipes on time and in full.
You will manage our highly talented team of recipe developers and give them daily support to ensure we’re on track to deliver hundreds of recipes each month.
You’ll report to our Senior Food Development Manager, the role is based out of our office/development kitchen in Shepherd’s Bush, London.
Core Responsibilities:
- Line management of our talented team of Recipe Developers.
- Ensuring all of our recipes are developed on time and in full.
- Supporting the team to fix all blockers and bottlenecks.
- Leading the team’s personal development and growth.
- Lead the end-to-end Recipe Development cycle, from concept to launch.
- Sign off recipes, showing great attention to detail and always championing the customer.
- Driving efficiencies and process improvements to constantly evolve what we do and how we do it – resulting in team output gains.
Qualifications
Who you are:
- Experience in managing a team, ideally in the food industry
- Strong interest in food
- Good excel / G-sheets and data analysis skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- You must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Strong attention to detail and obsessed with quality.
- Collaborative / stakeholder management skills.
