ShareAcademic Registry fulfils a dual role at the University by being an expert provider of fundamental University-wide academic services and being a dynamic influencer of academic policy. We are responsible for the processes and communications associated with student attendance at graduation, as well as ceremony procedures and the scripts for Senior Officers within the University.
An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Records Administrator within the Awards & Ceremonies team.
As the Records Administrator (Ceremonies) you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our graduation ceremonies by managing and maintaining records and data, planning and co-ordinating communications, and providing exceptional customer service.
The ceremonies are the culmination of several months of careful planning and preparation. You will take responsibility for the graduation journey for students, from invitation through to their attendance on the day.
About you
We are looking for a reliable, adaptable, and confident administrator with a person-centred approach to their work.
You will:
- be highly organised.
- have outstanding attention to detail.
- understand the importance of data quality to service delivery.
- have excellent communication skills.
- be confident working as part of a team as well as independently whilst contributing to the team's objectives.
You will provide a high-quality service to stakeholders at all levels within the University and provide exceptional customer service to our graduating students and their guests. You should be comfortable in the event environment but recognise that the events themselves are a relatively small part of the overall role.
Adaptability and an ability to learn new tasks quickly will contribute to your personal professional development within a central professional services department in the University.
