We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Workerwho has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.


No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

Salary: £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 Pro Rata (CGL Scale 23 – 28) dependent on experience


Responsibilities:
About the role – You will hold a caseload of individuals accessing support alcohol use and/or non-opiate use.

This role will be an integral part of service delivery within a multi-discplinary team. You will be supporting service users by developing a personalised recovery plan and encourage self-esteem, well-being, self-responsibility and enhanced motivation to create opportunities for the future.

We support those who access our service to reach their recovery goals which may be abstinence or a reduction in their use, and along the way we support people to use drugs and/or alcohol safely.

We are an integrated service with a prescribers, psychologists, and nurses. We have multiple specialist teams, including criminal justice, hospital liaison, BAME, dual diagnosis and outreach. We work alongside multiple partner agencies such as, Youth Offending Service, Probation, Luton Borough Council, CHUMS, Children Mental Health Service, Stepping Stones, Noah, Housing Providers and many others.
