Role:Recruitment Consultant
Reporting to: Operations Director
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our expanding team on a hybrid / remote basis with some travel required to client sites.
The ideal candidate will have an industrial bias, and experience of supporting clients with both temporary and permanent requirements. With bookings ready and waiting, you be able to hit the ground running with the bookings already in place, contributing to the ongoing success of Unity.

This role will involve:
- Consulting and advising on the most appropriate solution for your clients, identifying opportunities to cross sell our group services.
- Negotiation and agreement of commercials on both temporary and permanent opportunities.
- Assessing and responding to the needs of your clients and assignments.
- Attracting candidates, building relationships and maintaining a strong candidate database.
- Full interview and screening of suitable candidates and briefing them on the opportunities offered by the client
- Ongoing support for temporary candidates whilst on assignment
- Ensuring fulfilment of client requirements, regularly communicating and setting expectations with clients
- Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidate on permanent placements.
- Offering CV, interview and general career advice
- Identifying opportunities for growth of your desk through effective networking
- Attendance at sales presentations, lead by the business development team
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- A proven track record in sales and client development activities
- Experience of working within the Recruitment Industry, screening and completing pre-employment checks with candidates.
- An understanding of recruitment legislation
- A passionate desire to succeed and build a successful career
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate and adapt to suit the audience
