(9 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Summary of the Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator Role
At Birmingham Airport we are recruiting for a Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator to join our growing recruitment team within our HR Department on a 9-month fixed term contract.
As we head into the peak travel season, Birmingham Airport is preparing to welcome 13 million passengers through our doors to travel across the globe. As such our people are at the heart of the services, we deliver to ensure customers have a safe secure journey. This means we have an increased number of recruits to make and vetting processes to complete.
You will be supporting on the recruitment and vetting of various positions within Birmingham Airport operations including Terminal, Airside, Security and Corporate Services.
Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
Receiving and acknowledging applications Preparing shortlisting and applicant packs for line managers Supporting the Recruitment Coordinator with the day-to-day activity, liaising with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process updating on any delays and advising candidates of the outcome of their application Carrying out Pre-Employment checks for Airport staff in line with CAA regulations and requirements. Ensuring a high level of confidentiality and ensuring excellent customer service in all areas of work Support continuous improvement in the delivery of resourcing activity working closely with colleagues alongside the wider HR team Any other duties commensurate to the role as required.
Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator Candidate Requirements
As the Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator you must have experience in a high-volume recruitment environment either from Agency, RPO or In-House role.
This is due to the numbers we recruit at the airport and the highly regulated policies and procedures we must follow when hiring. You will have great communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to the business.
In the role you must be able to work on own initiative as well as work within a team environment.
You will also have previous experience of working with Applicant Tracking Systems, Identity & Vetting Systems and Office 365 as these are your core tools that you will be using each day.
