Recycling Picking Operatives.

The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting for Recycling Picking Operatives to join our clients growing team based in the Fforestfach area.

Contract: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks subject to performance

Rate of pay: £11.00ph (once taken on perm- pay rate increases and shift allowance is added ontop of 20%. Plus extra income for any skill such as FLT licence).

Hours of work: Full time: 7-7 shifts working on a rota basis between Monday to Sunday (continental shift pattern). Mixture of day and night shifts. Hours over a month average out at 42 hours a week.

Shift Examples:-
Week 1 – Mon Tue – Day work, Wed Thu – Off, Fri Sat Sun – Night work
Week 2 Mon Tue – Off, Wed Thu – Day Work, Fri Sat Sun – Off

Duties:–

• Picking plastic waste from the recycling line
• Machine operating
• Checking quality of work
• Working as part of a team
• Some manual handling duties
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Skills required:-

• Previous machine operating experience desired but not essential as training will be given
• Excellent attention to detail

This position involves being on your feet for the duration of the shift.

Ideally you will drive due to the location and hours of work
