Job:Refrigeration Engineer

Salary: Up to £41,000
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Randstad Solutions are seeking a time served Refrigeration who is looking for their next career move. The role involves PPMs and reactive maintenance on supermarket refrigeration. The vacancy is full time, permanent and mobile based in Yorkshire.

Main duties include:
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of refrigeration systems, including cold rooms, display cabinets, and industrial units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment faults, providing efficient solutions to minimise downtime.
- Install new refrigeration systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct system inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to complete projects and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports, equipment condition, and maintenance logs.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
The ideal candidate may have:
- F-gas qualification
- Refrigeration apprenticeship
- NVQ in Refrigeration
- Experience working within supermarket refrigeration
