Refugee and Migration Assistant

We are looking to appoint a Refugee and Migration Support Assistant. Based within the Refugee and Migration Service, you will provide a central point for all enquiries and referrals into the service, providing advice and sign posting to meet customers and partner’s needs. You will be required to assist with the recording of information and provide administrative assistance to meet the needs of the service
Working in a busy team, you will need excellent customer service skills, experience of delivering front line services and supporting vulnerable people to access advice and support. You must be motivated and enthusiastic towards helping people with complex and multiple needs.
You must have excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a wider team.
You must have knowledge and experience of using IT packages including Microsoft Office and have 5 GCSE' s grade C or above including maths and English or equivalent relevant work experience or qualifications.
