Regional Building Surveyor

Seeking a diligent and skilled Regional Building Surveyor(Quals not required) or FM Professional to manage and maintain Retails Stores within a set geographical area

Client Details

Our client, a major player in the retail industry, operates over 2,400 stores across the globe. They are known for their commitment to quality and exceptional customer service.

Description

You can be based anywhere in the UK for this role, as your designated geographical area will be determined depending on your home location. You will need to be field-based 2-3 days per week, with occasional monthly visits to their North West based office.

• Management of small and multi-site projects for the retail team.
• Procurement and management of planned and reactive maintenance contractors.
• Liaising with landlords and agents on interim and terminal schedules of dilapidations, negotiate claims in order to limit potential liability.
• Providing technical support and advice to the property helpdesk.
• Surveying, tendering and management of large property maintenance projects.
• Management of health and safety in small shop-fitting and building related projects.
• Provision of a 24/7 on call emergency assistance to the retail team.
• Contractor site auditing.

Profile

***FORMAL SURVEYING QUALIFICATIONS NOT REQUIRED***

• HND level in Building Surveying/Construction or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience of construction safety legislation.
• Working in a fast paced retail property maintenance environment.
• Facilities and maintenance experience of retail, hospitality or leisure facilities would be ideal
