Form of work|A major UK and international commercial vehicle manufacturer is looking for a Regional Business Manager, an exceptional leader with a passion for driving commercial success. In this role, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing the sales strategy and working closely with the dedicated dealership network and importers across Scotland and Ireland, to secure New Trucks, LCVs, and Transport Solutions volumes in alignment with the companies market targets.The role is to lead, advise and drive forward the dealerships business, o ffering input on pipeline activity, sales forecasts, and emerging market trends, with a focus on improving customer satisfaction, whilst also coaching and developing dealer sales staff, identifying and addressing competency gaps.ROLE: Regional Business Manager
LOCATION: Based in or close to either Belfast or Glasgow, to cover the regions, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
BASIC SALARY: £55k to £60k plus annual bonus

ROLE:
As a Regional Business Manager, you'll be an integral part of a close-knit team, covering regions including Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland. Reporting to the Network Truck & LCV Sales Manager.Providing developmental support for the Regional Fleet within your designated areas.Managing offers to Dealers, negotiating with them, and delivering on Volume, GP, and strategic objectives as per the business plan.Offering input on pipeline activity, sales forecasts, and emerging market trends, with a focus on improving customer satisfaction.Coaching and developing dealer sales staff, identifying and addressing competency gaps.Conduct regular Business Meetings with Dealers to review performance against targets, agree on action plans, and ensure timely follow-up.Supporting Sales Academy engagement and participating in key dealer customer visits as needed.Supporting the development of dealer business plans and sales strategies, encompassing business growth and CRM development.Providing valuable business intelligence on market trends and competitor actions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Experience required: Industry sector: Can have experience of Commercial Vehicles, heavy machinery, Plant and equipment, fork lift truck, cherry pickers, capital equipment or similarRelevant industry and product knowledge with a strong grasp of the dealer sales process.Hold a Valid Driving licenceWillingness to travel and stay overnight is essentialProven experience in account management, sales, and customer service.Commercial awareness and knowledge of local market/competitor activities.Excellent communication and presentation skills, adaptable to different audiences.IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software.Sound finance knowledge, including Funding of Business Assets.
