The Role: The Regional Business Manager will join a prominent company in the wood finishes industry, established over 120 years ago and currently holding a 35% market share. In this role, you will oversee the Scotland territory, spending most of your time traveling throughout the region and processing quotes and orders through the Glasgow branch. You will be responsible for selling a diverse range of wood finishes to end users, such as spraying contractors, and manufacturers, including cabinet and kitchen makers.

You will inherit a substantial number of accounts, dedicating approximately 80% of your time to account management and 20% to business development. With an impressive client base and a supportive branch in Glasgow, you will receive comprehensive onboarding and training to ensure your success in the role.

The Company: Our client is a market leader in the wood finishes industry, firmly established in the UK with 20 branches. Supported by an American parent company, this industry leader is looking to recruit a Regional Business Manager who shares their passion for their products and is dedicated to nurturing long-lasting relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new opportunities.

For this Regional Business Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Ideally experience with wood coatings and finishes, and/or abrasives and adhesives
  • All candidates with a background in technical B2B sales will be considered.
  • Professional candidates who are invested in self-development.
  • Have an appreciation for or experience with consultative sales.
  • Must have a full driving license.
