Our client is looking for a Regional Counsel EMEA to be part of a global team, providing legal support. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering legal advice across our business entities and work on various commercial and contractual matters.

Description
- Provide professional, pro-active advice and support to the companies entities across principally UK, Germany, Italy and France on a wide range of international commercial and strategic legal issues.
- Supporting legal counsel in the Americas and APAC regions as and when required on discrete or corporate matters as an integrated member of the global general law team.
- Provide cross-functional legal support in compliance with laws and regulations, company policies and industry standards, including but not limited to competition law, anti-bribery, international trade, data privacy laws and regulations and managing risk.
- Prepare, review and negotiate all types of contracts and other legally relevant documents, including relevant standards, templates and policies.
- Instruct and work with external lawyers, where applicable.
Profile
A successful Regional Counsel EMEA should have:
- English qualified solicitor, with a minimum of 8 years PQE.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German is required (should be bi-lingual or degree level in German with ability to negotiate and draft in German)
- Manufacturing experience (desirable)
- Proven experience as a legal counsel in a business environment. Combination of in-house and private practice experience preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage a heavy workload with conflicting priorities
Job Offer
- A salary between £90,000 - £120,000
