About the Role
The RIBA Membership Experience team create and deliver an engaging regional programme that supports our members and grows the reach and influence of Architecture across our built environment.
As a proactive relationship manager, you will engage with our membership in a variety of environments, understand the landscape of our member’s and support the promotion and development of architecture. The role offers a unique opportunity to be creative and develop programs in line with RIBA values and collaborate with our volunteer base and wider stakeholders across the region.
You will bring creativity and experience of developing and marketing events across a range of channels. You will also be experienced in negotiation at various levels with the ability to influence decision making.

- Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Be high on initiation and be committed to working collaboratively with colleagues.
- Demonstrable experience of meeting targets and objectives.
- Confidence in using a range of digital platforms and systems including CRM databases to target and record activities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines, and balancing conflicting priorities.
- Project and programme management experience.
- An astute communicator with significant proven ability to network at all levels, able to consult and build good relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders, with the ability to influence, persuade and motivate.
The role will require extensive travel and flexibility to work evenings and weekends dependant on business activity.
