About Us
Founded in 1985, we are one of the UK’s leading providers of waterproofing solutions, specialising flat roofing, but offering systems to meet most building applications including; car park decks, basements and foundations.
Through our sister company, ICB (Fabrications) Ltd., we are able to offer bespoke metal fabrications and provide these in mill finish or polyester paint coated to any RAL colour desired. ICB (Projects) Ltd., completes the group and provides an installation service for ancillary flat roofing products and solutions such as Solar PV, Roof Gardens and Roof Safety Systems.

This is a permanent position offering an annual salary of circa £35,000.00.
Working hours: 39.5 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm / Fri 8.30am - 4.00pm
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced flat roof installer, with proven experience using Single Ply. Bituminous Felts and Liquid applied systems are also favourable.
Some of the duties of the role include:
- Produce detailed Roof Condition Reports.
- To carry out site surveys on behalf of the ICB group as requested.
- To provide site services offered by ICB Projects.
- To supervise and assist as necessary with the installation of ICB Projects solutions.
- To carry out site inspections during installation and on completion in order to ensure the quality of the installation.
- To produce detailed site visit reports, ensuring copies are forwarded immediately to the Office Manager.
- To investigate product & installation complaints by customers as directed.
- To carry out small repairs on behalf of the company as directed.
- To prepare and conduct in-house and on-site training programmes for new and licensed operatives.
- To advise Approved Contractors on best methods and solutions for the specified installation.
- To build & maintain jigs & mock-ups for training.
- To produce samples as required.
- To assist with testing of new products and solutions
- To maintain safety procedures at all times.
- To ensure that all tools & materials required for practical training are properly maintained.
- To undertake training as required to develop & maintain personal skills in order to fulfil the above to the required standard.
- Through the above activities, to promote the good name & reputation of ICB, and its products & services.
- Meeting and liaising with contractors.
Requirements
About you
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
- Must have a full driving licence due to travel requirements
- Experience installing Single Ply
- Experience with training others
- IT literate (Microsoft and Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills
- Be friendly and respectful
