Location: Regional, based in the Manchester or Leeds area of the M62 with frequent travel within the north of the UK

Salary: Competitive

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 however flexibility required when attending site audits.

The Role:

As a Regional Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor, you will be responsible for the delivery of effective health, Safety and Environmental support to the business. You will be responsible for completing HS&E audits across sites, raising any non-compliance with the Health and Safety Manager, as well as supporting the H&S Manager in carrying out incident investigations in a timely manner, identifying emerging trends and suggesting improvements to the business. You will work with colleagues across the business, including our QMS and Compliance teams to ensure accurate records are maintained, as well as maintaining our Boon Edam H&S SharePoint documents.

We are looking for a flexible, organised individual with good attention to detail who has a keen interest in health and safety, compliance and training. You will have proven experience working with various departments across a business. You will have the ability to multi-task and effectively manage your own flow of work. You will be an effective communicator who enjoys problem-solving and works well as part of a team.

Due to the location of the role, the successful candidate must be based within the Manchester of Leeds area of the M62, with regular travel to sites and our head office, based in Ashford, Kent.

What Are The Skills Necessary To Perform This Role?

• Proven administration skills
• Ability to manage own workflow
• Highly organised with excellent time management
• Excellent communicator
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety and Environmental
• Legislation specific to the construction industry would be beneficial
• Proven experience undertaking H&S audits on a regional basis
• Experience as a Lifts Appointed Person would be beneficial for this role.
