Job Title: Regional Housekeeping Manager

This successful, international hotel group is looking for a Regional Housekeeping Manager to be responsible for the region hotels.

As a Regional Housekeeping Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the external housekeeping services contracted by the hotels.
This role focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across multiple locations.
The manager will collaborate with external housekeeping companies, ensuring contractual obligations are met and optimizing the overall performance of outsourced services.

The position

• Oversee and manage contracts with external housekeeping service providers.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing for favourable agreements.
• Ensure ongoing compliance of contract terms with external housekeeping companies.
• Establish and maintain high cleanliness standards in line with hotel requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of housekeeping services.
• Collaborate with external providers to implement corrective actions and improvements.
• Review invoices, ensure accuracy, and approve timely payments.
• Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the hotel and external housekeeping companies.
• Communicate expectations, standards, and specific requirements.
• Foster positive working relationships for enhanced overall performance.
• Collaborate with external housekeeping companies for aligned staff training.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for housekeeping services.
• Ensure external providers are well-prepared for crises and emergencies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within housekeeping services.
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Your profile

• 3-4 years of experience as a Housekeeping Manager or cluster Housekeeping Manager in a hotel or housekeeping agency
• Proven experience in overseeing housekeeping services, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience managing high volumes of housekeeping services across multiple locations.
• Knowledge of housekeeping software and systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Flexibility to travel to different hotel locations within the region.
