Driven by personally lived experience, The Protective Care Group was born to provide bespoke, tailor-made support for young people with severe and complex needs, particularly those exhibiting challenging behaviour. We specialise in providing a level of support that local authorities are often unable to; support that makes a real difference to somebody's quality of life and future prospects.We care deeply about the services we provide but we're also very ambitious and growing quickly across the UK. Our headcount has almost doubled this year with plans to double again in the next 12-18 months. To facilitate such expansion, we've been busy putting structure and process in place. Regional LeadAs part of the senior leadership team running our activities in the North-East region, the Regional Lead will be pivotal in how deliver our services and grow our presence in that area. Headlines of the role include:
- Build trusted and meaningful working relationships with relevant stakeholders and commissioners aligned with our CEO.
- Promote PCG's services in order to secure a consistent flow of new placements.
- Liaise with the CEO, Procurement, Compliance and Regional and Operational leadership and Recruitment on all new business opportunities.
- Recruit, induct and provide effective leadership to Regional and OFSTED Managers ensuring they lead by example and drive a culture of excellence and respect.
- Lead and empower your Managers to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure all placements strive for excellence in all areas, reporting on performance to the CEO.
- Ensure all placements are compliant, well-run and positive places to be for young people in our care and that we consistently exceed customer and young people's expectations.
- Promote a positive and educated approach to regulation, compliance and risk management.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and newness in our service offerings.
- Implement therapeutic support to current placements by working closely with the Regional Team and OFSTED Managers to identify training and skill gaps within support staff aligned to the wants and needs of each young person.
- Research and imbed alternative education provision for the young people in our care.
