Regional Leader – Building Safety

Join a global leader in buildings and infrastructure as part of a newly developed service line playing a lead role in the Building Safety team. This position is mainly focused on high-rise and high-risk buildings across the UK. This is a role centred around technical delivery, working closely in accordance with the Building Safety Act, Building Regulations, Building Act, Approved Documents and RICS professional Standards.

This role would be ideal for a buildings specialist from a Building Control, Building Surveying, Design Management, Principal Designer or a structural background. In this role as Technical Director of Building Safety you will lead the Building Regulations assessment and provide expert consultation services in order to sign off from the Building Safety Regulator. A major focus of this project work will be tall buildings and high rise residential works.

This is a newly developed role within a well established business. For the right candidate there is an opportunity to develop very quickly, grow a wider team and scale up the service line. This role could be based across the UK but ideal locations would be London, Midlands or the North West depending on the person.
