In this position as Regional Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing facilities operations and services across multiple sites, including corporate offices and technical locations.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include being accountable for the operational delivery of FM services and ensuring a seamless experience for visitors, contractors, and employees.

You will be at the forefront of delivering low-level compliance activities, ranging from flushing and EML flick tests to water temperature testing, fire alarm system tests, and shower head cleaning.

Collaboration will be a key aspect of your role, as you work closely with other core functions within security, technical, and corporate teams.

Your goal will be to ensure that the sites under your purview are maintained to the highest standard, creating consistent and appropriate service experiences aligned with the evolving needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the operational space within the clients’ corporate offices and technical locations to ensure the experience offered is suitable, sustainable, secure and safe for all audiences that interact with the workplace.
  • Identify and create a sustainable work environment that engage employees and enables them with an environment that allows them to thrive.
  • Deliver KPI’s in time with monthly reporting deadlines including building inspections, fire risk assessments, L8 assessments and Asbestos management plans.
  • Deliver low level compliance activities in time with monthly reporting deadlines including emergency light flick tests, water temperature testing, fire alarm systems tests, flushing of little used outlets and shower head cleaning.
  • Drive consistent and improved customer experience & service delivery through implementation of continuous improvement and best practice principles, and work with the client to ensure stakeholders are kept informed of plans and progress to their work environment.
  • Liaise with local stakeholders and suppliers to drive consistent and improved employee experience and service delivery, bringing in best practice.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge and experience of hard and soft service delivery
  • IOSH, Facilities management, or other operational management qualification required
  • Practical building maintenance experience is desirable, but equivalent demonstrable experience is required
  • Strong customer focus and customer management experience is critical for portfolios including corporate office space
  • Capability to overcome problems and implement effective solutions
