Regional Sales Manager

Location: Newmarket, Suffolk

Hours: 40 hours/week (flexible working hours suited to client)

Salary: Basic £40,000-£45,000 / OTE £60,000-£75,000

Benefits: Company car, mobile, laptop, quarterly commission structure

Duration: Permanent

Due to the ever growing demands of our clients business we are looking to engage with a Regional Sales Manager to oversee the growth of new business across the UK. Our client offers exceptional service in time lapse, aerial imaging, and surveying services to the private and public sectors. To be suitable for this role you will be confident in managing your own time alongside proven experience in generating revenue. Training with the equipment will be provided.

  • Self-discipline - to be able to manage your own time
  • Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager or similar territory sales role
  • Ability to measure and analyse key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel as needed

What your duties will look like:

  • Selling the Company’s aerial imaging service nationwide to a variety of businesses
  • Taking responsibility for profitably, growing the sales of services through new business
  • Using the companies value proposition to ensure you are targeting relevant business opportunities
  • Seeking new leads and identification of new business opportunities through research
  • Networking to secure new business opportunities through word of mouth
  • Attendance of trade shows and exhibitions to promote services
  • Providing sales reports to the directors with progress
  • Forecasting of sales pipelines to directors
  • Developing strategic sales plans to expand the customer base
  • Hitting of sales targets and KPIs,
  • Identifying new and emerging markets to stay ahead of competitors
  • Management of own diary to book, attend and complete client visits
  • Production of customer quotations and contract management
  • Working with all departments, including marketing, to increase sales and understand the forever industry
  • Attend managers meetings (in person or via Teams), attend the office once a week within the 6 month probationary period (minimum)
