Regional Supply and Demand Planner - Watches & Accessories

Main Purpose

As a member of the Supply Chain Team, the Regional Supply and Demand Planner will manage supply and demand of the product categories under his/her scope to ensure proper reflenishment of the full network (Internal Boutiques, External Boutiques and Watch Specialists, for Mexico, Brazil, Latin America & Caribbean), in accordance with the central and regional guidelines. He/she will will play a critical role in the development of the region.

 

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting

  • Manages regional sales forecasts, for the following product categories: Watches & Accessories, based on post sales figures, projected trends, and market streategy, in collaboration with the central teams based in Switzerland.
  • Sizes the novelties in collaboration with Markting Product Managers and Commercial teams.

Model Stock Maintenance, Inventory Policy & Automatic Replenishment

  • Defines and updates the model stocks in the Region, in accordance with the central guidelines and in collaboration with the regional commercial teams as well as central operations for the full network: 6 Internal Boutiques, 12 External Boutiques and 125 Watch Specialists.
  • Ensure that the inventory policies are well dimensioned to secure proper replenishment.
  • Sets the Automatic Replenishment for external partners and MDS for internal boutiques.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Creates, updates and uses Supply Chain related dashboards to monitor regional activity to anticipate shortages/overstocks and alert the concerned/impacted departments accordingly. Reports on monthly basis risks and opportunities. 

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree - preferably in Supply Chain
  • Self-motivated, team player, quick learner, positive attitude, ability to deal with heavy workload and stress at times, good communicator, great sense of proactivity, challenges the status quo
  • 2 years (or more) of experience in Supply & Demand Planning or Merchandising
  • Strong quantitive analytical skills & computer savvy
  • Excel expert with preferred experience with SAP, Anaplan, Power Bi and/or Teableau
  • Experience and knowledge of the luxury industry is a plus
  • Good understanding of local culture and local team's needs
  • Fluent in Enlish and Spanish required. French and Portuguese are a plus
  • Travel may be required
