Regional Warehouse General Manager
GRG are exclusively partnering with a national 3PL business in their search for a Regional Warehouse General Manager responsible for operational service across the site ensuring that performance safety targets and standards are met in full and within the agreed cost budget. Managing the site and associated resources in a safe and compliant manner to achieve financial, operational and customer services objectives.
Key responsibilities:
· Ensure that site operational KPI’s are met or exceeded
. Client facing and responsible for managing client expectations
· Establish and maintain effective relationships with the customer
· Provide leadership for the Management Team at site to develop internal relations and initiatives
· Responsible for the site operating budget
· Ensure all H&S legislation and standards are adhered to and maintained
· Establishing positive and progressive employee relations to include managing absence, performance and succession and development
· Embed a harmonious working environment with positive relationships and culture
· Accountable for overall communication and engagement strategy with all stakeholders including customer, retail store managers, union, wider business and all employees on site
· Driving process and continuous improvement
· Excellent knowledge of continuous improvements techniques
· Proven experience of managing complex and challenging Trade Union relationships
· Effective management of an operation through management of SLA’s/KPI’s/Objectives
· Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to clearly demonstrate delivery of continuous improvement and opportunity management
Key Experience:
- Operated a full Open book P&L
- Worked within a Unionised environment (Preferable)
- Operated at GM level within a Warehouse Operations
