Job Overview: 

We are seeking a dedicated Home Manager to lead Daviot Care Home. This role involves overseeing the high-quality care provision, managing operational aspects, and leading a team committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment for our residents. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Operational Management: 

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional care and compliance with regulatory standards. 

  • Financial management, including budgeting, resource allocation, and maximizing occupancy. 

Leadership and Team Development: 

  • Build, train, and mentor a compassionate and skilled workforce. 

  • Foster a positive, inclusive culture that reflects our values and commitment to continuous improvement. 

Resident-Centric Care: 

  • Ensure a high standard of personalized care for residents. 

  • Develop engaging activity programs and community integration initiatives. 

Community Engagement: 

  • Maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers and stakeholders. 

  • Lead community outreach to enhance Daviot's presence in the local area. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Relevant nursing qualification with active registration (RNMH, RNLD, RN adult) or equivalent experience in care management. 

  • Proven track record in a management role within a Care Home setting, focusing on mental health or elderly care. 

  • Experience in commissioning and leading new services. 

  • Strong financial and operational management skills. 

  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
