Registered Care Manager in anAdult Service
Job Type: Full-time (part time could be considered) Permanent.
Salary: £43,000.00 per year pro rata
Office hours are usually 9-5 Monday to Friday with half hour for lunch.
Flexible working hours could be negotiated.

The Pontesbury Project is a local charity providing care for adults with special needs. It seeks to provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment guiding our service users with daily living experiences whilst continually improving their quality of life.
We are looking to recruit a Registered Care Manager for our care service supporting adults to live in their own homes as independently as they are able. We assist them in their daily lives and help them to enhance their skills.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for care to help lead the service. As Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for the continued growth and development of our care service and will ensure that the delivery of outstanding quality care is maintained.
This role is suitable for both an experienced Care Manager and a candidate who is now ready to take the next step on their career path.
As a dedicated and confident individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills you will play a significant and valued role working alongside the Nominated Individual and Trustees to ensure our service develops, continues to perform at the highest-level and adheres to all legislative requirements. In addition, the successful candidate must meet CQC Registered Manager requirements which includes an interview with the CQC.
Duties of the job include:
- To ensure compliance with the Care Quality Commission’s regulations and standards.
- To ensure all records are kept up to date acknowledging all legislative requirements.
- To provide a quality assurance and control system
- To ensure all care plans are reviewed regularly.
- Complete all care needs inc risk assessments and PBS plans.
- Ensure all health appointments and health needs are acted upon.
- Provide a diverse and stimulating range of activities with appropriate and ongoing support for all Service users.
- To communicate with families liaising with them alongside team leaders and staff.
- Working closely with external agencies and attending MDT and best interests’ meetings.
- Provide quality care whilst promoting Service User choice and independence ensuring they feel safe and secure living in their own homes.

- Level 5 NVQ desirable or working towards
Pontesbury project is a local charity providing care and homes to Adults with learning disabilities in a caring, fulfilling, meaningful and nurturing environment. The Project cares for 16 residents, has 13 properties and 0ver 50 staff who provide high quality, specialist, person centred support to individuals some of whom have severe learning disabilities and challenging behaviours, some of whom require 1-1 support.
