Job Title: Registered Nurse Critical Care

Trust Location: Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Pay Rates: £15 - £25

About the Trust:

As North Derbyshire's only acute district general hospital, Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are responsible for providing a full range of acute services as well as providing community midwifery, specialist childrens services and a 24-hour Emergency Department. Nestled in the heart of Derbyshire, Chesterfield is a market town famed for its Crooked Spire.

What you will be responsible for:

You will treat patients with critical illnesses from all specialties, medical and surgical, as well as giving post- operative support for planned, major surgery. This care will include:

  • Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
  • Checking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic tests
  • Recognising, responding to, and managing emergency situations
  • Planning, delivering and evaluating standards of evidence-based nursing care

You'll have the following qualification/experience:

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Critical Care nursing environment within a hospital in the last 3 years
  • Statement of NMC Registration
  • Degree /Diploma in Nursing
  • Be committed to undertaking regular mandatory training

*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
