Job Description
Service Care Solutions have an incredible opportunity for RGNs to join our team in Derby! The role involves administering medication and assisting with stock control, as well as undertaking all care for patients whilst in the hospital including diagnostic tests and post-operative care. You'll also prepare areas priory to clinical activities to ensure equipment is checked and ready for use.
Location: Derby
Job Type: Registered General Nurse
Contract: Permanent (37.5hrs per week)
Pay Rate: £30k - £40.5k (depending on experience)
Requirements
- Experience working with the CQC, NHS trusts and in the private healthcare sector.
- NMC Registered General Nurse with a minimum of 1 year post registration experience in a clinical/hospital setting.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a larger team, with excellent communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as outlook, word and excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment is correctly stored and assist with stock control.
- Admit and discharge patients on theatre days and follow GDPR legislation to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Follow correct procedures when reporting accidents and incidents.
- Adhere to the principles of clinical governance.
