Job Description:
We are currently hiring Registered General Nurses to join our clients in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing excellent care to patients within the community. We offer guaranteed shifts with the option to block book for up to 3 months, ensuring flexibility and stability in your work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical health and develop personalised care plans. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to patients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation. Support patients and their families by providing education and emotional support. Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care when needed. Promote health and well-being through health promotion activities. Requirements:
Registered General Nurse with a valid nursing qualification and regulatory registration. Previous experience in a general nursing role is preferred. Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a community-based setting. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Current knowledge of healthcare legislation and best practices. Benefits:
