Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a new Home Manager to work within our clients Residential Home for the elderly.
As a Home Manager, you will ensure the day-to-day management of the Care Home is at its highest level, showing your passion and commitment for delivering the highest standard of care to our residents and promoting care that is person centred.
About You:
- Ability to manage, coach and develop staff.
- Excellent Communication Skills: both written and verbal.
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of current Dementia and older person care.
- Ability to manage your workload independently.
- Auditing skills.
- A compassionate and caring attitude
- Recent experience of working in a residential home.
- Up to date knowledge on CQC regulations.
- Have an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management qualification.
- Have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
Registered Home Manager Vacancy Details:
- £80,000 pa (Depending on experience)
- Full time, permanent contract.
- Small sized care home registered for up to 80 beds.
- Great reputation.
- 'Good' rated CQC.
- Support from senior leadership.
Home Manager main duties:
- Ensure the day to day running of the service is at it's highest level.
- Lead a team of care staff to provide outstanding care.
- Provide support, supervision, and mentoring to all staff at all levels.
- Support the service to remain compliant with all regulations surrounding Health and Social Care.
- Act as a role model for good care governance practice.
- To be on call for the home for whenever an emergency arrives.
