An exciting opportunity has arisen based in Northamptonshire for a Registered Manager to lead, develop, and manage a children’s home. Providing full line management support to staff working in the service which which provides long-term residential care for children who have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder and associated learning disabilities.

Type: Temporary

Length of contract: 12 weeks

Location: Northamptonshire

Hours: 37 hours per week

Rate of Pay: £350.00 per day via an Umbrella Company

Daily duties:

• Responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day management of the home remains compliant with Ofsted regulations and in line with the ethos of the home
• Committed to and focussed on improving the outcomes for the children and young people living in the home and on developing their life opportunities and chances
• Ensuring that the staff team provides a high standard of consistent care and service in accordance with legislation, central government guidance, regulations and standards, and the policies and procedures
• Ensure there are measures in place that will lead to successful inspection visits by the CQC and local authority
• Carry out regular personal reviews and supervisions including carrying out and recording training records and training requirements for the staff team
• Recruit, supervise and appraise staff in line with the Trust requirements and in accordance with the statutory requirements

Essential requirements:

• An enthusiastic attitude and keen interest in supporting vulnerable children and young people
• An Enhanced DBS with the adults’ and children’s list checked within three years or the willingness to obtain one
