Good to know

As a non-profit organization, we are committed to the recent update from the Welsh Government in relation to 'eliminating private profit from the care of children looked after'.

"80% of care homes in Wales are run by the private sector. Our aim is to ensure that public money invested in the care of children looked after does not profit individuals or corporate entities, but is wholly spent on children's services to deliver better experiences and outcomes for children and young people, supporting service development and improvement and further professional development for staff."

By 2027, they aim to have the care of children who are looked after in Wales, to be provided by the public Sector and charitable or non-profile organisations.
