We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Care Home Manager to join our exceptional team at a prestigious nursing home in Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a large sized home, offering a salary of up to £78k.
As the Care Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to our residents. While a nursing pin is preferred, we are open to considering non-clinical managers with relevant experience. It is essential that you have previous experience in managing a care home and are comfortable overseeing the operations of a medium to large sized facility.
The successful candidate will possess a strong management style, with a focus on person-centered care. You will have the ability to lead and inspire a fantastic team, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and support. Your excellent CQC performance will be instrumental in supporting our efforts and reputation in providing exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained
- Lead and motivate a dedicated team of care professionals, fostering a positive and supportive working environment
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans, tailored to meet the individual needs of our residents
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Care Home Manager, preferably within a medium to large sized home
- Nursing pin preferred, but nonclinical managers with relevant experience will be considered
- NVQ 5, RMA, or other professionally recognised qualification within health & social care
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a person-centred approach
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and experience in maintaining a good CQC track record
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
