Job Title: Registered Manager – Supported Living (LD and Autism)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee our Supported Living services for individuals with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Autism in Manchester. This role involves managing a team, ensuring high-quality care, and fostering an environment that promotes the well-being and development of our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Supported Living services, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a team of care staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Care Planning: Develop, implement, and review individual care plans, ensuring they meet the needs and aspirations of service users.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and resource allocation align with service needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for staff.
- Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of service users, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential:
- Registered Manager with CQC registration.
- Proven experience in managing Supported Living services for individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Budget management experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 or equivalent).
- Experience in strategic planning and service development.
- Knowledge of local and national policies related to Learning Disabilities and Autism.
