Job Description:
We are currently recruiting Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our clients in Glasgow and Paisley. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a rewarding role, providing high-quality Mental Health care to individuals within the community. We offer guaranteed shifts with the option to block book for up to 3 months, providing flexibility and stability in your schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive Mental Health assessments and develop individualised care plans for patients.
- Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness, ensuring proper documentation.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and support to individuals with Mental Health conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
- Offer crisis intervention and support during Mental Health emergencies.
- Promote Mental Health education and provide guidance to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions and interventions.
Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with valid nursing qualification and regulatory registration.
- Previous experience in a Mental Health nursing role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Mental Health assessment tools and care planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a community-based setting.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and person-centered care.
- Current knowledge of Mental Health legislation and best practices.
