Job description

This post is open to NHS Lanarkshire employees only.  
 

The Role

The post holder will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care, and/or the implementation and evaluation of these programmes ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients.

The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision.  The post holder may be required to demonstrate procedures to and supervise registered and/or unregistered staff, as well as student nurses.

What we'll need you to bring

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
  • The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
  • Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management skills


Contract type

  • Fixed Term or Secondment until 08/01/2025
  • Full time 
  • 37.5 hours

Please note this is a fixed term post until 08/01/2025. Where a post only has temporary funding and an existing member of NHS Lanarkshire staff wishes to apply, this will be treated as a secondment. The employee MUST already have written agreement from their line manager to be released on a secondment before applying for the post. 


 

Location 

This role will be based in Ambulatory Emergency Care  within University Hospital Monklands.
