Job description

Salary : £27- £40 per hour (depending on the shifts worked i.e. weekdays, weekends, nights, bank holidays etc.)

Working Hours: Flexible

Start Date: Subject to successful application

We are currently seeking experienced Band 5 Registered Nurse Critical care to join our team of healthcare professionals. You must have recent experience of working as a Critical care nurse and hold a valid NMC pin number. You will also be required to meet our compliance standards (DBS, References, Occupational Health and Mandatory Training).

Job Responsibilities


  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
  • To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate the nursing care of patients within Critical Care in accordance with UK law.
  • Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual.
  • To organise time and that of non-registered staff, students and other learners within Critical Care as appropriate
  • To support the senior members of staff in the management and supervision of the defined clinical area
  • Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients.
  • Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies.
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
  • To work effectively as a member of the multidisciplinary team
  • Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships.
