Band 5 outer pay rates for London
Day Rate - £18.02
Night/Sat Rate - £22.72
Sun/Bank Holiday Rate - £ 27.42
What you’ll be responsible for –
· Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of young person’s / vulnerable adults in your care and those who you encounter.
· Undertaking assessments of service users’ Mental Health or dementia needs as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
· Undertaking assessments under the Mental Health Act as an Approved Mental Health Professional.
· Participating in the Approved Mental Health Professional rota when required to do so.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
You’ll have the following qualification/experience:
· A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Registered Nurse working in a Mental Health clinical ward hospital setting the last 3 years.
· Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
· Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
· Undertake regular mandatory training*
· MAPA/restraint training. Training given at trust if not compliant.
In addition to experience, all Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of
- Statement of NMC Registration
- Degree /Diploma in Nursing
