Salary An exciting opportunity has arisen in CCHC Ward 2 for a dynamic and forward thinking Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Adult Nurse. Ward 2 is a 20 bed specialist dementia unit which provides ongoing assessment and treatment for older people with Mental Health needs. We require individuals with excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work well as part of a large multi-disciplinary team.
You should also have the knowledge and clinical competencies required to provide evidence based interventions to older people with a variety of Mental Health needs. An understanding of Mental Health act legislation and recent previous experience in this speciality is desirable. The ability to promote high quality, person centred care, and a genuine interest in Older Peoples Mental Health Nursing is essential.
