Overview of the Nursing Associate role:
As a Nursing Associate, you will bridge the gap between healthcare assistants and registered nurses, delivering hands-on, person-centered care as part of a multidisciplinary team in various clinical duties. As a Nursing Associate means you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring seamless coordination and top-notch service delivery.
Key Responsibilities as a Nursing Associate
- Excel in providing exemplary planned care for patients while supporting individuals with all aspects of care to promote health and independence.
- Implement personalized care plans, ensuring patient safety through clinical risk assessments and incident reporting.
- Prioritise privacy, dignity, and safety at all times.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures diligently to maintain high standards of care provision.
- Seek guidance from healthcare professionals when needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Essential qualifications & experience required as a Nursing Associate
- Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
- Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification
- Recent previous experience within a comparable role/transferable skills
