Registered Veterinary Nurse

Salary up to £29,000 depending on experience
We are looking for a confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team here at Alexander Vets. The role includes running nurse clinics, inpatient care, lab work, diagnostic imaging, monitor anaesthetics and be happy to help with the daily running of the practice.

The rota includes working 4 days per week with shifts being between 8:30am and 6:00pm with 1 day in the week being from 8:30am-12:30pm. There will be 1 in 4 Saturdays from 9:00am-12:00pm. There is no on call or out of hours with this role. We are also happy to consider part time applicants.

Alexander Vets are based on the outskirts of the Lake District, we are close to some of the most scenic views the country has to offer. If you love the great outdoors, this is a great location for water sports, hiking and adventure sports.
We are a well-established and popular small animal practice who work to the highest standards. We recently benefited from a full practice refurbishment, so we are very modern and well-equipped. Our practice boasts digital x-ray, ultrasound, laser therapy and in house blood facilities. We have a loyal client base which helps us provide detailed work ups too.
Meet the team
Currently, we have a team of 2 Vets with a wealth of clinical experience, so there is a great support network in place with lots of opportunities to learn. Working alongside our Vets we also have 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, a Kennel Assistant, and a Receptionist.
