SalaryWe have an exciting opportunity available for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Petmedics, Walkden.
Walkden is our primary branch site and is developing, with new investment in a state of the art equipment and facilities, so this a real opportunity to be part of our practice's growth.
The nursing team is supported with dedicated reception cover. We provide inpatient care for surrounding practices and have a wide range of equipment on site to manage emergency, surgical and medical cases.
We are looking for an individual who possesses great communication skills, is passionate about promoting exceptional animal care and enjoys working in a team environment. Duties will include, but are not limited to; nurse consults, anaesthetics and reception work.
The nursing team are encouraged and supported to undertake CPD and Schedule 3 procedures. If you wish to develop your clinical skills further, we are happy to support this and have recently launched our level 5 advanced certificate in veterinary nursing. As a nurse you will have access to a whole range of courses to grow and expand your knowledge.
This is a full-time role of 42.5 hours per week. Salary GBP24,500 - GBP30,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
