Emergency Medicine Registrar

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Foundation Trust

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registrarto work with us at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Foundation Trust in Emergency Medicine.

We are looking for a doctor dedicated to, and passionate about, improving health and wellbeing within the East and North Hertfordshire Hospital.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • The Registrar will assess, investigate, and undertake relevant further medical management of patients attending EC. This includes effective and appropriate liaison with other health providers to optimise patient management.
  • The Registrar will, when possible, be available to offer advice and assistance to the House Officer working alongside in EC.
  • Routine duties are carried out in the Emergency Care
  • The Registrar is expected (in the course of their daily clinical work) to assist with the supervision/training of medical trainee interns

  • Speciality:Emergency Medicine
  • Location: East and North Hertfordshire Trust
  • Shift patterns: 08:00-20:00 Mon-Fri on-going, part-time hours also available.
  • Hours per week: 20-50 hours available
  • Start date: ASAP- no end date, this is on-going the client will accept short term contracts
  • Rates: Negotiable

  • Clinical attachment complete and minimum of 3 months paid experience in the NHS/UK

About the Trust:

East operates in five hospitals and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust works several community clinics across hospital sites, providing a full range of services, including Ashford, Canterbury, Folkstone and the surrounding areas. The Trust’s specialist care in urology, renal medicine, cancer, plastic surgery, kidney disease and ophthalmology. Hertfordshire has vascular services are also open to the best of both worlds, surrounded by beautiful countryside but wider community. This role would be predominantly based in XX with good road and rail links to both London and Cambridge, as well as comprehensive bus services the opportunity to work extra shifts across the main towns, including to and from all the Trust sites Trusts’ other sites and any of our partner Trusts.
