Purpose
As the Registration Operational Manager within the BackOffice and Operational Excellence team at SP Customer Business, you'll play a pivotal role in our innovative operation.
We're a data-driven company where automation is key. Your mission involves collaborating closely with management, operational teams, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless processes, regulatory adherence, and efficiency.
Your role encompasses compliance across existing and new processes, system adaptation to industry changes, and innovative solutions that empower different areas of our business. Additionally, you'll work with a team of internal and external FTE, strategically allocating resources and budget to enhance operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence across processes. Ensuring seamless end-to-end processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements
Monitor performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and optimize workflows for c.5m customer´s industry processes
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovative solutions that enhance our portfolio. Leverage automation and data-driven approaches to streamline operations
Lead efforts to adapt systems and processes to meet changing regulatory requirements
Collaborate with IT teams to define and adapt systems in response to regulatory and industry changes. Liaising with external stakeholders to maintain compliance and mitigate risks
Manage a team of internal and external FTE, provide mentorship, guidance, and performance management, fostering a positive work environment, encouraging collaboration and growth
Optimize costs while maintaining operational excellence, strategically allocating resources within the departmental budget
What you'll bring
Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relevant technical field
Proficiency in SQL is essential for managing large amounts of data effectively
Familiarity with Python is desirable, as it will enhance your ability to contribute to innovative solutions
Be passionate about technology, think analytically about problems, the ability to manage and analyse a high volume of data, and help drive innovative solutions
An understanding of the legal and/or regulatory aspects of energy supply in the UK
Previous experience managing improvements projects and/or leading the delivery of process improvements to meet business needs and expected benefits
Ability to manage business stakeholders to drive forward new solutions and process improvements to deliver operational excellence
Proven record of building excellent working relationships with people based in different locations and geographies
