Job description

Founded in 1432, Sevenoaks School enjoys a global reputation as a centre of academic excellence and a flagship school for the International Baccalaureate. A co-educational day and boarding school, it offers a stimulating, intellectually demanding and balanced education for over 1,100 students from ages 11 to 18. Sevenoaks is among the top schools in the UK. It has received the distinction of being The Sunday Times Independent Coeducational School of the Year and the Independent School of the Year for Student Wellbeing in 2023, and the UK Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) awarded Sevenoaks the rare accolade of 'Exceptional' for its pupils' achievement.

The Sevenoaks School Foundation is now seeking an experienced and innovative Regular Giving Manager to join its rapidly expanding advancement team and help support an ambitious and transformative fundraising campaign ahead of the school's 600th anniversary in 2032. The campaign, led by the Headmaster, reflects the school's 'restless quest to improve and evolve' and will focus on providing more transformational bursaries, advancing the school campus plan and enabling Sevenoaks to become carbon neutral within a decade.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Advancement, this new role will be responsible for creating and implementing a Regular Giving strategy to attract entry-level regular donors and thus help create a deep and sustainable culture of philanthropy at Sevenoaks. This is an exciting opportunity to devise and manage an innovative Regular Giving strategy for one of the most ambitious fundraising campaigns in the UK schools sector.

This is a newly created post and an opportunity for an experienced, data-driven Regular Giving professional to bring innovation and contemporary best practice to a critical area of focus for the Sevenoaks School Foundation. The Regular Giving Manager role will likely suit a highly skilled practitioner with a successful track record supporting multi-GBPm fundraising campaigns in education, charities or the arts. Experience of working in a UK school environment is not essential, but candidates will be supportive of independent education in general and the Sevenoaks ethos in particular.

Interested candidates are invited to contact RSAcademics to arrange an informal and confidential discussion about the post:
